Public Masses will be allowed to resume on Monday, May 25. St. Jerome will host its first Mass on Tuesday, May 26, at 7:30 PM.
There will be restrictions. See the new rules here
As always, if you are sick, stay home. In every case, be sensible. Remember we are still dispensed from our obligation to attend Sunday Mass so if you are uncomfortable or at risk, you may skip Mass.
In order to help keep us all safe when we return to Mass, there are several restrictions that we need to observe.
-Every other pew will be blocked off. All pews on the river side will be marked for safe distancing. A few pews on the Kellogg side will be reserved for families who may sit together - other pews will be marked for distance.
-We will not have music for the first few weeks. That will facilitate shorter Masses and eliminate the need for missalettes and hymnals.
-Holy Communion will be offered only in the form of His Precious Body.
-Collection baskets will not be passed among the faithful. Instead, one basket will be on the table in back of church.
-Our regular schedule will resume with Mass on Tuesday, May 26, at 7:30 PM. Saturday's vigil Mass will be a 5 PM and Sunday's Mass will be at 9:30 AM.
We strongly encourage the use of face coverings.

Prayer of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
